James D. (Jim) Litton is the CEO of the Litton Consulting Group, Inc (LCG). LCG has been in continuous operation since 1993.

LCG consults in the general areas of precise positioning systems, machine control and sensor system development.

Litton’s personal consulting practice includes organizational issues, staffing, competitive analysis, technical & marketing due diligence for acquisition and strategic partnerships as well as the coordination of LCG’s senior technical consultants.

 

During Jim’s tenure as CEO of NavCom Technology (NCT) which he and three partners, Ron Hatch, KT Woo and Jalal Alisobhani founded in 1995, LCG continued as the largest shareholder in NCT until its acquisition by Deere & Co. in 1999. (For more background, please see History).

LCG currently consults for or advises various divisions of John Deere; H2Scan, Inc. and other organizations who wish the association to remain confidential. LCG cannot accept assignments which raise conflicts of interest with current or quite recent clients. Consulting rates depend upon the nature and duration of the engagement. Venture Capital groups and corporate business development executives can arrange equity compensation or contingency fee structures. Limited pro bono work is available for deserving groups.

Contrary to past practice, LCG does not contract for hardware or product SW deliveries but will assist in the evaluation and placement of such development projects.
